Sometimes webcams just aren’t pretty enough to get the job done. If you want to add a bigger better camera to your Facebook live streams, it’s actually pretty simple. You will need to purchase a converter that can turn your camera’s signal into something your computer can recognize. We highly suggest the Magewell HDMI to USB 3.0 Converter. ($299) (There is also an SDI version.)

You simply connect your camera to the Magewell HDMI input and then choose the Magewell as a source within Vidpresso:LIVE, in your Chrome browser.

There are other converters out there that will do a similar job. Black Magic has a device called a Mini Recorder that will convert HDMI to Thunderbolt.
